Introducing our premium Walnut End Grain cutting board. All wood is locally sourced from North America and handcrafted in Canada.
We really appreciate the wood's natural warmth and distinct look. The unique grain tells a story of the tree's life and where it grew. Our aim is to bring out this beauty while crafting a kitchen tool that's both attractive and practical.

◆ With Feet and Juice Groove
ㆍNon-slip rubber feet: Provide stability and help prevent accidents.
ㆍJuice groove: Effectively traps liquid, preserving the cleanliness of your countertop.
◆ Size: 16.25” x 11.25” x 1.625”
◆ Weight: 7.38 lbs (about 3.35 kg)

◆ The End-Grain Excellence: Durability Meets Design
Experience the enduring elegance of our end-grain cutting boards, crafted for both beauty and functionality. Celebrated for their 'self-healing' property, these boards feature a unique construction where wood fibers close back up after a knife cut. This innovative end-grain design minimizes knife marks, maintaining the board's fresh appearance for a longer period.

Additionally, it offers a superior cutting surface, gentle on sharp blades. The vertical alignment of the fibers allows knives to glide between them, rather than slicing through as they would on face-grain or edge-grain boards. This not only preserves the board's pristine look but also creates a knife-friendly surface, ensuring your cutlery stays sharper for longer.

◆ Food-Safe Finish: Our boards are crafted with waterproof and food-safe glue for long-lasting durability and treated with food-grade mineral oil and 100% pure beeswax conditioner.

◆ Ideal for Gifting: This cutting board makes a perfect gift for housewarmings, weddings, birthdays, and Christmas.

◆ Please note that every piece is unique and may display slight variations from the photo.

◆ The Natural Antimicrobial Qualities of Walnut:
A cutting board crafted from walnut wood offers a unique advantage – its natural antimicrobial properties. These characteristics play a crucial role in inhibiting the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms, making it a more hygienic choice for food preparation. Using such a cutting board can provide you with peace of mind, as it possesses inherent resistance to harmful bacteria.

However, it's essential to note that no wood is completely immune to bacterial contamination. Proper maintenance, including regular cleaning with warm, soapy water, and occasional oiling (with board conditioner), is crucial to maintain its antimicrobial properties and durability. This ensures the continued hygiene and longevity of your walnut cutting board.

【Maintenance】
We strongly recommend applying Cutting Board Conditioner to preserve the wood's quality over the long term. This ensures that your board maintains its pristine appearance, just as it did when you first received it. Your purchase also includes a cutting board care guide and a 4oz container of board conditioner.

★ Caring for Your Cutting Board
Here's how you can maintain your new KnL board to ensure its durability and your enjoyment for many years!

★ What to Do:
ㆍWash the board with soap and warm water.
ㆍWipe it dry immediately with a towel.
ㆍLet it air dry in a standing position or on a rack for proper air circulation.

★ What Not to Do:
ㆍDon’t place the board in the dishwasher.
ㆍAvoid immersing it in water or letting it soak.
ㆍRefrain from using bleach.
ㆍDon’t lay it flat to dry.
ㆍAvoid placing hot items like pots or pans on the board, which could burn or stain the wood.

★ Additional Tips:
Keep your KnL Cutting Boards and Butcher Blocks in top condition by using Cutting Board Conditioner. Apply a small amount with a soft cloth occasionally to prevent the wood from drying out.

Even though End Grain Cutting Boards are less prone to knife marks compared to face-grain or edge-grain boards, they can still get marked over time. To remove these, a light sanding with 220 grit sandpaper or finer is usually sufficient.
